Scar tissue from gall bladder removal surgery; what can do to get rid of it and the pain?
I had gall bladder removal surgery back in February. At times, the area around my tummy below the navel is a little sore and hurts when I walk or do strenuous activity, especially bending while cleaning up or picking up items. The pain also finds me if I sit for long periods of time and then get up. Is it scar tissue from the surgery or intense pain that I had prior to the removal? If so, what do I do to get rid of it? It is painful at times.
How much Recovery time will be needed for gall bladder surgery? (Done laparoscopicly)?
I am going to be having laparoscopic gall bladder surgery and I have heard allot of different stories regarding recovery time.

June 5, 2006 had open gall bladder surgery still have a lot of pain during and after walking. I also have a lot of pain if I try to lift light articles for example a plastic backed chair.
How long will it take to recover from open gall bladder surgery and should a few spots on the incision ooze?
I had open gall bladder surgery 10 days ago today…I am feeling a lot less discomfort than when I was first released..I was told it is safe to take showers and I use peroxide on the incision each morning for cleaning…I still have 2 spots on my incision that ooze a clear yellow liquid occasionally..Is this normal 10 days after surgery? What is the expected length of time for recovery and getting back to work lifting heavy objects and regular duties?? Thanks to all who help answer my questions…
Can you lose weight after gall bladder surgery?
I had gall bladder surgery 3 yrs ago. I havent lost a pound in fact i have gained. I know a guy who lost 100 lbs.
